Osmania College is the Pioneer Teacher training college Among the private/Unaided/Muslim minority/only Urdu medium along with English & Telugu medium of instruction,institution in Kurnool District Granted, under Article 30(1) of the constitution of India as per G.O.Ms. No :214 dt 17.09.1993

The college is governed under the aegis Dr Abdul Haq Educational Academy Kurnool

under which education is imparted to Muslim minority students and especially for the upliftment and promotion of Urdu language, and to enhance the ethics and skills in the teaching profession , As we step into this new academic year, filled with hope and dreams of scaling new heights, I wish to reiterate the importance of few things that we have to keep in mind. The purpose of education is to teach our trainees to think and develop a capacity to reason out facts. Prospective Teacher’s should keep in mind the importance of planning and prioritizing their time and the effective use of it which are essential to achieve success.

Trainees should always think and review – discover the cause and effect of every event, in which they are involved. Do not surrender or become a slave to youthful fancies and indulgences. Be steady in your studies. Learn to enjoy hard work – particularly your studies. Think wisely, think systematically. Always prepare yourself for next day’s lesson. Be very serious and attentive in class, as these are the ethics which they will be inculcating in students as a regular teacher.

Preserve our heritage and environment for yourself as well as for your next generation. Always be a soldier to defend and preserve our traditions and our territory.

With experienced and dedicated faculty and excellent infrastructure, our college helps trainees to realize their goals in life. I encourage all Prospective Teachers to take advantage of the opportunities provided by the college and involve themselves in all the extra curricular activities that are offered. The overall development of the mind and body is a sign of a healthy and complete development.

Hard work, dedication and perseverance are the most important traits in a person that lead to success. The future belongs to you; your need, therefore, is to prepare yourself for an active participation in the world. This participation demands that you become well informed and hence develop yourself like a pioneer and ultimately grow as responsible men and women ( builders of the nation)

Education, as an instrument of social change, plays a crucial role not only in character building and personality development but also prepares the individual to face the challenges of life with determination and confidence.

The faculty members of college are highly dedicated having indomitable commitment towards achievement of mission & goals. The spacious classrooms, hi-tech laboratories, seminar hall and a well stacked library help students to learn systematically and thoroughly.

The college has been able to train and gear up the Prospective teachers to face the challenges of the emerging society and thwart such challenges by dint of the sincere services rendered by all concerned.
